We are continuously closely monitoring released and wild reared individuals and populations as part of our English reintroduction projects. The sightings reports we receive are incredibly helpful in understanding the movements, behaviours and potential breeding activity of individuals, which helps us map, monitor and support the growing populations.
To celebrate the brilliant photo submissions we receive, and to share recent updates with our supporters, we have now set up a sightings gallery on our website.

If you have observed a White-tailed Eagle or an Osprey, you can submit information about your sighting to our records, and where possible we may be able to return more information about the individual/s you saw*.
Any sightings may provide valuable information for our projects, and when reporting a sighting via our website, you will have further options to upload photos, record any unique codes identified from colour rings and share further information alongside the location and time of your sighting. No locational information beyond county level from your sighting will be shared publicly, in best interest of protecting birds from disturbance.
If you would like to see your photo featured on the sightings gallery, make sure to select photo consent on your sighting submission. Recent sightings may also be shared on our social media channels, and by providing your Instagram handle we will be able to tag you in any posts that include your photo.
To submit a sighting or to find out more information, use the shortcuts below or head to our project pages via www.roydennis.org.
Keep up to date with our work
*Note that we receive a high volume of sighting reports during busy periods, and all reports are reviewed by the relevant project co-ordinator in our team, so we may not respond to your submission instantly.
