Working for wildlife
The Roy Dennis Wildlife Foundation is a small charity committed to taking on bold and exciting projects.
At a time when our natural world is under greater threat than ever before, it is essential we take a proactive approach to nature conservation.
Some of our recent Projects
Reintroduction of White-Tailed Eagles to the Isle of Wight
Since 2019, 45 White Tailed Eagles have been translocated from Scotland to be released from confidential sites on the Isle of Wight, supporting the re-colonisation of the species in Southern England after they were persecuted to extinction.
Translocation of Ospreys to Poole Harbour
The south coast is now home to multiple breeding pairs of Osprey following a successful translocation and release programme in Poole Harbour.
Raptor satellite tagging
The Foundation has undertaken multiple innovative raptor satellite tagging studies, supporting the discovery of key information to aid the long term restoration of rare species in the UK.
